A TOWN band have hailed their very first tour around the UK as a “great success”.
Shoot the Poet, made up of Dom Hansford, 22, Adam Morgan, 22, and Peter Aves and Craig Gilbraith, both 19, were on the road for two weeks and enjoyed every second of it, from the sell-out gigs to the overnight stays in the back of a car.
Craig said: “It was an amazing opportunity, for all of us as individuals as well as the band.
“The highlights were playing in front of 200 people in Bristol, our first ever London show which we headlined and our final sell-out date in Stockton.”
Craig added: “It was the perfect opportunity to see if it’s for us, and it definitely is.”
The band plan to continue gigging and writing new songs and are hoping to realise their first single in January.
