A DANCE school is delivering show-stopping performances of its 66th pantomime this week.
Youngsters from Elwick Academy of Dance are treading the boards at the Town Hall Theatre, in Raby Road, Hartlepool, this week, with their fantastic rendition of the classic tale of Cinderella.
Children aged from two-years-old, and young people up to the age 19, have been practising for the show for weeks, and so far audiences are loving it.
The panto started on Monday night and runs right through until Saturday, with evening performances starting at 6.45pm and Saturday’s matinee show from 2pm.
Dance school owner Geoff Lucas said all of the cast and dancers are having a great time.
He told the Mail: “The show is the traditional story of Cinderella with a few twists.
“There is plenty of singing and dancing and it’s a colourful show as always.
“The audiences seem to have enjoyed it so far, there has been a very good reaction from them.
“The children have worked very hard, I’m proud of them.”
