FINAL rehearsals are in full swing for Royalty Theatre’s pantomime.

This year, the community theatre, off Chester Road, is staging the classic tale Cinderella.

Penned by David Farn, it will be staged from Thursday until December 21.

This classic story tells the tale of Cinderella, her bossy ugly step sisters, an evil wicked stepmother and a handsome Prince Charming. Will Cinders get to the ball in time? Can the Fairy Godmother turn a pumpkin into a magical coach? Will Buttons save the day?

The show features hit songs, laugh-out-loud routines, sparkling costumes and lots of audience participation.

Evening shows start at 7.15pm with matinees on December 13, 14, 20 and 21 at 2.15pm.

There will be no evening performances on December 15 and 20.

Tickets are £8 or £6.50 concessions, which are available to students in full time education, under 18’s, registered unemployed and senior citizens.
