FOUR leading comedians are on the bill for a night of laughs at a Hartlepool venue.

The Hot Potato Comedy Club returns on Saturday, June 28, at the Town Hall Theatre in Raby Road.

The line-up will feature Dan Nightingale, Rob Rouse (who has appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats and Celebrity Juice), Monty Burns and Mike Wilkinson as the special guest MC.

Peter Vincent of promoters Ten Feet Tall said: “Comedy fans are in for another great Saturday night here.”

He said Mike Wilkinson had supported the likes of Peter Kay, Johnny Vegas and Ross Noble, and the show organisers were delighted to get him to appear at Hartlepool.

Peter added: “Dan Nightingale is a proper whirlwind, and easily one of our favourite comics. He’s a TV studio warm-up man of choice for the likes of Jonathan Ross, and one of the most in-demand headliners.

“People will know Rob Rouse from a string of top television including 8 Out of 10 Cats and Celebrity Juice, and it’s always great to see him in this neck of the woods.

“And Monty Burns is one of the best new acts we’ve seen for a very long time, so it’s all shaping up to be a top night.”

Tickets are available at £6 up to a week before the show. After that, they are £9 and £8.
