Hartlepool’s stars of TV talent shows are set to perform in the town next month.
Britain’s Got Talent 2015 finalist Danny Posthill; singer Michael Rice, who made it to Boot Camp during the X Factor 2014; plus Got to Dance 2013 finalists and Hartlepool dance group Ruff Diamond are set to perform at the event.
The night aims to show off the best of Hartlepool’s talent, with Stockton Riverside College student and teenage singer Jessica Harrison, 17, also taking to the stage. T
he event takes place at the Staincliffe Hotel on Saturday, November 28. Doors open at 6.30pm with the main event kicking off at 7.30pm.
Organiser Jason Blackburn, 18, said: “I’ve organised the event to showcase Hartlepool talent and also help raise money for a good cause.
“We’ve managed to get finalists from TV talent shows such as ITV’s X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and Sky 1’s Got to Dance.
“It’s promising to be a great night of music and dance, plus we’ll be having a charity raffle with 20 prizes up for grabs.
“We’re encouraging everyone to book in advance and come down to the Staincliffe Hotel by the seafront.”
The event also hopes to raise vital money for three-year-old Brody Dunbar who has autism.
Jason added: “The money being raised through the charity raffle at the interval is for my friend’s brother, Brody Dunbar.
“He has been diagnosed with autism and his family have to make many journeys down to London to get treatment which comes at a cost The funds raised are to help his family pay for treatment and travel costs.”
The event will be sponsored by three businesses across Hartlepool and Seaton Carew, which are JD Photography, Aspire Bathrooms and Wetrooms, plus winner of the Hartlepool Mail’s favourite fish and chip shop 2015, Fishface.
