And, as ever, we’ve seen good times and bad.
It was the decade when Blackhall youngster Bradley Lowery broke our hearts but raised our spirits with his amazing bravery.
The borough also welcomed the Olympic Torch, fought for Hartlepool Hospital, and found itself battered by the wintry Beast from the East.
