Drink, cigarettes, cash and scratch cards stolen in Hartlepool shop burglary

Raiders have snatched cigarettes, alcohol, scratch cards and cash in a burglary at a convenience store.

Two men are said to have forced their way in, stolen the haul, and attempted to force open an independent cash machine at the shop - but failed.

The incident happened at the Premier Store in Andrew Street, Hartlepool, between 3.15am and 4.20am of Monday March 13, and police have put out an appeal for help.
