Hartlepool man gets four-year jail term for stab attack in Plymouth

Glyn Collier, 44, was jailed for four-and-a-half years after a man was stabbed in the arm in Plymouth.

Collier, of Gladstone Street, Hartlepool, was jailed after admitting charges of with maliciously causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

He had earlier admitted being in possession of a bladed article in a public place.

Collier was jailed after appearing at Plymouth Crown Court.

The incident happened at about 11.30pm on July 26 in the lobby of a block of flats in the Devonport area of Plymouth.

During the incident, Yan Regulski, aged 34, suffered a serious arm injury.

Collier is inderstood to have been in the town because he was employed at Devonport Dockyard at the time.

Judge Paul Darlow jailed Collier for four and a half years.
