Police searching for a missing Cleveland dad have found human remains on farmland near Redcar.
Officers were called just before 4pm yesterday, Wednesday, May 5, to farmland in the Yearby area, where the remains of a body were recovered.
The family of Paul Kerrison, 31, who has been missing since October 2014, have been informed and will be kept updated, according to Cleveland Police.
The dad-of-one, from Eston, near Normanby, was last seen on Saturday, October 25, 2014 near to the junction of Longbeck Lane and Grewgrass Lane in New Marske .
He was reported missing the following day by his worried family .
Police and forensic officers are still in the area, which has been cordoned off while investigations are carried out.
