The German under-21 international also represented England at every youth level before making the switch to the nation of his birth in 2019.
He was part of the England under-21 squad that won the prestigious Toulon Tournament in 2018 – he is also eligible to represent Nigeria at international level.

Hide AdNmecha spent the first half of the season on loan at Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg where he made 12 appearances in all competitions including five in the Europa League. The young forward featured both out wide and in a more central role for the German outfit but failed to find the back of the net.
The 6ft 1in attacker has been at Manchester City since 2007, progressing through the youth ranks before making Premier League debut in April 2018 where he was a late substitute for Gabriel Jesus against West Ham United at the London Stadium.
He’s made a total of three appearances for City’s first team with two top flight appearances and an EFL Cup showing under his belt.
Nmecha is no stranger to Championship football either having spent last season on loan at Preston North End.
