Jonathan Woodgate has claimed his first win as Middlesbrough head coach following a 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic at the Riverside Stadium on Tuesday night.
Britt Assombalonga’s first-half header was the difference between the two sides, after the Boro frontman headed home Jonny Howson’s cross before the break.
