Middlesbrough were beaten 3-1 by Bristol City at the Riverside on Saturday afternoon – after the Teessiders were made to pay for some costly mistakes.
Two goals from City striker Nahki Wells, either side of a Jamie Paterson strike, sealed the game for the visitors before Britt Assombalonga grabbed a late consolation for Neil Warnock’s side.
