Phil Mustard returns to strengthen Hartlepool in Guisborough NYSD Premier League clash

Hartlepool host Guisborough tomorrow as the NYSD Premier League enters the final furlong.

Pool have only four games remaining and will take heart from their solid performance against Norton last week.

John Watson scored an impressive century, his second of the campaign, as Pool registered a score in excess of 300.

Their batting line up will be strengthened further with the inclusion of Phil Mustard and Neil Coverdale.

Coverdale missed the game due to his commitments, and Mustard was on duty with Gloucestershire.

His arrival is a real bonus for Pool who were unsure as to his availability for the remainder of the season.

Peter Rhoden and Aaron Feroz drop back into the second string despite performing admirably last week.

Callum Prosser is unavailable again, leaving Pool with Lewis Stabler and Ollie Mole as their frontline attack.

They will be supported by Dale Metcalfe and Jonathan Carson who are regular bowlers, whilst Jon Rickard may bowls his occasional spin too if the wicket takes a turning ball.

The fixture sees Pool come up against their former pro Shani Dissanayke.

The likeable Sti Lankan was replaced by Pool after facing delays getting into the country due to his visa.

Eventually having his issues resolved, Guisborough were quick to sign up the NYSD veteran, and he has never looked back.

The North Yorkshire side arrive in a little bit of form, despite finding themselves towards the bottom of the league tables.

Meanwhile, Seaton Carew travel to Richmonshire tomorrow for their league fixture.
