A hit musical is celebrating ten years on the stage with a tour which includes the Tees Valley.
Dreamboats and Petticoats The Musical comes to the Forum Theatre in Billingham from March 13 to March 18.
The show was written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, who were the writers behind TV classics such as Goodnight Sweetheart, Birds of a Feather, The New Statesmen and Shine On Harvey Moon.
It features classic tracks from Roy Orbison, The Shadows, Eddie Cochran, Billy Fury, and more.
Tickets are now on sale for the show which is produced by Bill Kenwright and Laurie Mansfield in association with Universal Music.
The show is set in 1961, and features two young musicians Norman and Bobby who compete to win a national song writing competition – and the attention of a lovely lady.
There’s twists and turns along the way in the musical which features some of the greatest hit songs of the Rock ‘n’ Roll era.
These include Let’s Dance, To Know Him Is To Love Him, Shaking All Over, and Bobby’s Girl.
