CBeebies and Hollyoaks stars on the bill for Aladdin as cast revealed for Forum Theatre pantomime 2020

Laughs, gags and colourful costumes. They are all on the way – as well as a great cast – at this year’s Forum Theatre pantomime.

Stars of this year’s show have been revealed and they include some familiar favourites as well as some new names for this year.

There’s another promise from theatre chiefs … that the usual array of gadgets will be back for another year.

The 2020 show is Aladdin and Evie Pickerill from television’s CBeebies will star as Princess Jasmine.

Forum favourite Ben-Ryan Davies – a star of Hollyoaks and Waterloo Road – is back for another season and he will play Aladdin.

The Harper Brothers return as the Chinese Policemen and Liam Mellor is Wishee Washee.

Robert Squire is Widow Twankey and further casting is still to be announced, but theatre manager Derek Cooper said: “Tickets are already selling in their thousands.

The show promises to be a typical Forum mix of surprises, gadgets, laughs galore and Derek added: “We have a list of very impressive gadgets that we will be employing again this year.”

The show will run from Tuesday, December 1 this year to Sunday, January 3, and tickets are already on sale.
