Dalton Park Outlet Centre closed for the rest of July 18 as work continues to fix a power cut
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
The Murton shopping centre initially confirmed this morning it was currently investigating the cause of the fault and was aiming to open as soon as possible.
Now an update has been released to say that work is still ongoing to fix the fault and that Dalton Park will not be able to open today.

Hide AdPosted on the centre’s official page, the new comment on Saturday afternoon said: “We have just received confirmation from Northern Power Grid that they need more time to fix the fault that supplies Dalton Park so we will not be able to open the centre today unfortunately.”
It has also been confirmed by the centre that KFC, The Dancing Betty pub and the newly built Morrisons Petrol Station all have power and are open.
The original statement posted earlier today said: “Due to an incoming power supplier issue Dalton Park is unable to open this morning.

There is currently no known timescale of when the power to the shopping centre will be back up and running.
