The measures also include enhanced online booking to minimise physical contact with staff, face coverings must be worn except when eating and drinking, and the number of touchpoints have been reduced with contactless payments encouraged.

All screens including seat armrests will be disinfected in between showings, and each member of staff will undergo two days of training.

Tickets for the cinema can be booked from Wednesday, August 12.

Tenet is currently the only film that Vue Hartlepool is listed to screen in its first week of reopening.
