See list of shops that are doing late night Christmas shopping in Hartlepool's Middleton Grange centre

A number of stores in Hartlepool’s Middleton Grange shopping centre are providing late night shopping in the run up to Christmas.

Around a dozen retailers are staying open until 7pm or 8pm as they look to make up for lost time during the recent national lockdown.

Primark, which saw queues when it reopened last week, will open until 8pm.

Participating stores that are open from 8am until 7pm Monday to Friday include:

* B&M,

* Card Factory,

* Clintons,

* Deichmann,

* Durham Bed Centre,

* H Samuel,

* Poundland,

* Select,

* Sports Direct,

* The Entertainer,

* Wilko.

The late night shopping continues until Christmas Eve.

Shoppers can also take advantage of free parking in Hartlepool town centre each Saturday in the run-up to Christmas.

The offer applies to all Hartlepool Borough Council managed car parks and on-street pay and display parking areas in the town centre.

But the multi-storey car park remains closed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
