See which shops have reopened in Hartlepool's Middleton Grange

A large number of shops at Hartlepool's Middleton Grange shopping centre have opened their doors for the first time since the coronavirus lockdown.

The Government has allowed a variety of non-essential shops and businesses to open again as the number of deaths and cases of Covid-19 continues to fall nationally.

Here are the stores in the centre that opened on Monday, June 15, for the first time since late March.

They are: The Entertainer, Shoe Zone, H&M, The Fragrance Shop, Deichmann, Three, River Island, Market Cross Jewellers, Pandora, Yours, Primark, Clarks, Fonestyle, JD Sports, H Samuel, Bodycare, Sports Direct, CEX and Cash Generator, VYPE, Boots Opticians, Vape Solutions, O2, Betfred and VIP.

Many stalls in the Market Hall have also reopened.

A number of food and drink outlets remain closed for the time being including Costa Coffee, McDonalds and Greggs.

The shopping centre added: “As we are only allowed a certain number of people on the internal malls there may be times when we have to implement a queuing system at the entrances until numbers decrease.

“We ask that you shop safely, respectfully and keep your distance. Please follow any instruction given with kindness and patience so everyone can have an enjoyable shopping experience. Thank you.”

Car parking at the centre is still currently free after Hartlepool Borough Council suspended charges, but the toilets in the centre remain closed.
