The Hartlepool leisure centres and facilities closing during Lockdown 2

Mill House Leisure Centre, Brierton Sports Centre, Headland Sports Centre and Summerhill Visitor Centre will shut to the public from the close of play on Wednesday, November 4, until December.
It is part of national measures to try to control the spread of the coronavirus which has risen sharply in recent weeks.

Hide AdAn announcement by Get Hartlepool Active, Hartlepool Borough Council’s leisure, recreation and participation team, said: “Details about the reopening of sites in December will be shared nearer the time.
"We will reopen our sites as soon as it is safe for us to do so.”
All memberships will be frozen while the centres are closed and direct debit payments will be suspended.
People who have paid up front will have the period of the closure added to the end of their contracts.

Hide AdAll parks and open spaces in Hartlepool including Summerhill will remain open during the lockdown.
The team added: “When visiting these amazing open spaces, please ensure that you continue to adhere to the guidelines.
"We want to thank all of our customers and members for their support during this difficult time.”
Virtual fitness classes are available to leisure centre members by emailing [email protected] to receive an access code to an app.
