Hartlepool new homes development is a sell out
All 110 houses on a new Hartlepool development have been sold after the developers adapted to the pandemic.
Taylor Wimpey North East says it overcame problems caused by coronavirus by a combination of virtual appointments and socially-distanced viewings to enable house hunters to reserve the final available homes at Tunstall Farm, off Valley Drive in West Park.
All homes on the development have now been sold.
Sarah Northcott, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey North East, said: “Thanks to its ideal location, Tunstall Farm has been a big success ever since it launched and we’re happy to have now added the final residents to the community.
“For us as homebuilders, it’s rewarding to watch families take the next step in their lives and into a new home.”
Customers were able to watch presentations and virtual house tours from their own home while sales representatives were also on hand via phone and email to help.
More recently, socially-distanced show home viewings were made available on an appointment basis.
The developer has also provided support to local organisations.
Last year Oaksway Netball Club received £1,000 in sponsorship which provided the Under 14’s team with brand new kit for the season.
In recent years Taylor Wimpey has donated £500 to Hartlepool Special Needs Support Group and worked alongside schools such as West Park Primary School promoting Walk to School month.
Sarah added: “It’s been a real honour to support some of the fantastic local organisations and charities close to Tunstall Farm, many of whom are vitally important to the community.”
