The case rate takes compares the number of people living in each area to the number who have tested positive for the virus and produces a rate of infection per 100,000 people.
The Hartlepool Town Council area has a case rate of 420.7 cases per 100,000 people.
The figures are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two). Pictures are for illustrative purposes only.
The first six areas are have the highest case rates and the second six have the lowest.
