The Bradley Lowery Foundation was established by the family and friends of six-year-old Bradley following his tragic death in 2017.
And like many other charities, the Foundation – based in Blackhall Colliery – is feeling the pinch as the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak has led to the cancellation of planned fundraisers and other work.

The charity has joined Give As You Live, an online shopping site which donates a percentage of the sale from a range of retailers back to a chosen charity.
A statement on the Bradley Lowery Foundation Facebook page said: “Everyone is struggling, so as a charity we fully understand that in this day and age, every penny counts.
“We have been looking at different ways, in which we can raise funds, but offer something back to our amazing supporters.”

As well as joining Give As Your Live, the charity has obtained a small lotteries licence, enabling the team to run raffles and lottery-type games which offer prizes to those taking part.
