Haunting images show deserted seafront and town centre that would usually busy with crowds on Easter Monday

The last day of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend would normally see crowds flocking to Hartlepool’s parks and seafront.

So as the coronavirus lockdown enters its fourth week, are people still obeying Government advice to stay home and limit the spread of the virus?

It certainly seems as though they are.

Mail photographer Frank Reid visited Seaton Carew and Hartlepool town centre and captured these eerie shots of the deserted streets.
