Military and NHS England set up coronavirus testing centre at Dalton Park - this is who is eligible and how to book a slot

The armed forces and NHS England have arranged for another mobile-testing site starting today and running for three days at Dalton park until Tuesday, May 5.

Those who meet the eligibility criteria can book an appointment via the Government website at

https://www.gov.uk/apply-coronavirus-test. The site also details who is eligible for testing.

Those being tested include:

:: Essential workers including NHS and social care workers with symptoms

:: Social care workers and residents in care homes (with or without symptoms)

:: NHS workers and patients without symptoms

:: Anyone over 65 with symptoms

:: Anyone with symptoms whose work cannot be done from home (for example, construction workers, shop workers, emergency plumbers and delivery drivers)

:: Anyone who has symptoms of coronavirus and lives with any of those identified above
