Hartlepool’s rate of positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people has been generally falling from 798.6 (on January 1) to 174 (on February 11).
The latest figures show nine out of 12 neighbourhoods in the borough saw infections drop in the latest seven-day period. Only three, Old Town & Grange, Rossmere & Mill and Harbour & Victoria recorded an increase.
Here we reveal which areas have seen the biggest drop in case rates per 100,000 people between Thursday, February 4 and Thursday, February 11.
The case rate takes into account the number of people living in each area compared to the number of people who have tested positive for the virus and are measured by 100,000 people.
The figures are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two). Pictures are for illustrative purposes only.
1. Rift House and Summerhill
