England’s Covid restrictions are now expected to be in place until July 19.
The latest figures show nine out of 12 areas in Hartlepool saw a rise in infections in the latest seven-day period, the second week in June.
Hartlepool recorded 66 cases in the seven days to 15 June, a rate of 70.5 per 100,000 people compared to a rate of 25.6 on June 8.
