It may be a sunny Easter weekend but Hartlepool residents are staying at home as they follow the lockdown rules.

Hot Bank Holiday weekends are few and far between, but instead of flocking to the town’s parks and beaches to make the most of the good weather, many people seemed to be heeding the Government advice and remaining indoors.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock urged the public to stay at home over the Easter weekend and maintain social distancing measures, despite the nice weather.
