Data from Public Health England reveals there were 154 positive Covid cases in the week up to February 24 – which equates to a rolling rate of 164.4 per 100,000 people.
The local authority has seen a continual fall with 166 positive cases confirmed in the week prior (up to February 17) – a rolling rate of 177.2 per 100,000 people.
Although the number of Covid cases in Hartlepool continues to slowly fall, the town still has one of the highest rates in the North East.
Here we reveal which 12 neighbourhoods have currently have the lowest case rates in and around Hartlepool.
The case rate takes into account the number of people living in each area compared to the number of people who have tested positive for the virus and are measured by 100,000 people.
