What to do about registering Hartlepool births and deaths during coronavirus crisis
Social distancing regulations mean members of the public cannot book face to face appointments with Register Office staff in the Civic Centre, though staff are working remotely.
Anyone wishing to register a birth should keep any relevant documentation safe until the restrictions are lifted and it is once again possible to attend the office in person.
