North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust has produced and released a short video explaining the new regulations regarding the High Alert/Tier Two status Teesside currently finds itself in.

The ‘COVID-19 - High Alert restrictions’ video features members of staff outlining one regulation each, and takes a little more than 90 seconds to make clear what we all need to know.

The video outlines the Tier that Tees Valley finds itself in and what it means for residents, including not meeting people from outside your household or support bubble in an indoor setting, not to meet in a group of more than six outdoors, and avoiding unnecessary journeys.

Stuart Irvine, deputy director of finance for the Trust, features in the video.

He said: “We knew there was some confusion about the new regulations so this was a really simple solution.

“We cover the main points we all need to be aware of right now, such as households not mixing indoors and some of the limits on businesses.

“There’s even a reminder not to forget how important it is to wash our hands regularly and thoroughly, wear face coverings and maintain physical distancing.

“We all need to do out bit to beat COVID-19.”

The video, which has been released to the Trust’s social media feeds, can also be viewed on YouTube at https://youtu.be/Z7qXCKzXp4c

The Trust is keen for the video to be shared as widely as possible.
