5. The Shakespeare, Catcote Road
First opened in 1956 as the Catcote Hotel, The Shakespeare gained its bardic name in 1998. It only lasted 20 years before being demolished to make way for shops in 2008. Photo: Hartlepool Mail
6. The Station Hotel, Station Lane
Over in Seaton Carew, The Station Hotel was built in 1872. It closed in 2010 and a Sainsburys now sits on the site. Photo: Hartlepool Mail
7. The Pink Domino, Brierton Lane/Catcote Road
Known as The Pink to many, The Pink Domino was first opened in 1958 and demolished in 2013. As with many other lost pubs, a supermarket now occupies the site. Photo: Hartlepool Mail
8. The Powlett Hotel, Powlett Road
