Did you ever use the steelworks bridge or walk past the derelict Fairworld and remember it in its heyday.
Chances are you did just that in 1992 when Home Alone 2, Wayne’s World and A Few Good Men were topping the bills.
While all that was on the big screen, Heartbeat was making its debut on telly and so was Men Behaving Badly.
We loved Shakespear’s Sister, Right Said Fred and Charles & Eddie.
And back in Hartlepool, there was plenty to love too. Take a look.
1. Plenty of reason to be happy at the 6th Form College

2. A big-hearted fundraiser
Bryan Hanlon of the Queen public house, presented a cheque for £285 to Eric Reeve, coxwain of Hartlepool lifeboat, accompanied by crew member Pat Keating and Ians Gillbraith. The cash was from the proceeds of a pie and peas supper. Photo: hm
