Flashback to Hartlepool Carnival parade days of the past from the 1950s to 2020s

Hartlepool Carnival is in full swing and it will not be long before people line the streets of the Headland for the annual parade.

With fun, games and fancy dress the event is a highlight of the carnival and summer.

We take a look back here at some previous stand out years including as far back as the 1950s.
