Fun for the over 50s! 9 retro photos of Hartlepool and East Durham people having a great time

Hartlepool and East Durham’s over 50s have certainly had plenty to keep them entertained over the years.

There are pictures of trips away, meeting with pals and shaping up in style with activities such as belly dancing.

And while it may not be possible at the moment because of the pandemic, we have plenty of reminders of those great times thanks to the Hartlepool Mail archives.

So if you loved the Autumn Club, the St Matthew’s Community Centre Over 60s, or the year you learned Spanish, we have reminders for you all.
