We are talking about 1999 and the year we watched SpongeBob, Roswell High on the small screen and Notting Hill at the pictures.
We also did a lot of great things back in Hartlepool and East Durham. Children were dressing in Victorian costumes at Eldon Grove and the Steetley works were in the picture.
There was a pie-eating challenge in town and the Headland hosted a medieval fair.
But don’t just take our word for it. Take a look at these photos and re-live the 1999 memories.
1. Excellent at Eldon Grove
Pupils and teachers at Hartlepool’s Eldon Grove Primary School dressed up in period costumes in 1999. Who can tell us more about this school exercise with a difference?
2. A new era for cinema goers
The opening of the multiplex in 1999. Were you there?
3. On parade in medieval style
The Headland Medieval Fayre in 1999 - but are you in the picture?
4. Tuck in to the 1999 memories
