We all adore Badger, Robin and Sausage - and we love these retro mask making scenes in Hartlepool as well!

It’s the big night tonight! The final of the Masked Singer hits our screens this evening.

But we reckon we’ve got a town full of superb mask creators closer to home if these nostalgic images are anything to go by.

We delved into the Hartlepool Mail archives to find 9 great photos of youngsters with the masks they created at fun-filled sessions.

Whether you got creative in Ward Jackson Park, Foggy Furze Library, Oxford Road Baptist Church or the Borough Hall, we have it all.
