Hartlepool motorists warned of diversions and disruption due to road closure
Drivers are being warned of diversions and potential disruption to their journeys because of a planned closure so that roadworks can take place.
Hartlepool Borough Council is taking out a temporary closure order in Davison Drive, near its junction with Carrick Street and Annandale Crescent, in West View, Hartlepool, in the middle of next month.
The road is due to be closed on Sunday, June 20, for one day.
The council order says the closure order is required to allow work to be undertaken to repair and maintain manhole covers.
It adds that only works and emergency service vehicles allowed to use the road during the closure.
An alternative route will be available and signposted via Carrick Street, Bruce Crescent and Miers Avenue.
