Hartlepool boy's amazing Christmas card design proves a hit - and is going out to bring Christmas cheer to families

The ten-year-old from Hartlepool won a competition to design a Christmas card which will go out to families across the town.
The Rossmere Primary School pupil created a stunning snowman scene after town group 1 Hart, 1 Mind, 1 Future ran a ‘design a Christmas card’ competition.

Hide AdThe contest held by the group which is Hartlepool’s Parent Carer Forum was ‘for all our children who have additional needs. We were blown away by the high standard of designs we received’, said a spokesman.
Hartlepool Carers chairman Simon Piercy chose the winning design. He said: “I loved them all! Please pass on my congratulations to all of them for their excellent imagination and talent. One card however stood out amongst the rest.
"The depth of colour, and the feeling of festivity when you looked at it secured it for me, right down to the snowfall”
The winning design was by Tyler whose hobbies are playing on his Xbox, target practice, drawing and playing on his bike.

A spokesperson for 1 Hart, 1 Mind, 1 Future said: “Tyler’s winning design will be used by 1 Hart, 1 Mind, 1 Future to send out to all their registered families and associates. Ords, the printers kindly made hard copies of the winning design.”
Tyler’s prize was a selection box as well as having his cards printed by Ords.
