Review of Hartlepool domestic abuse services underway and seeking input from residents
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Anyone who has experienced domestic abuse is asked to take part in the study by Hartlepool Borough Council to help understand if improvements are needed.
Where people didn’t use local services, the council is keen to find out why.

Hide AdCouncil leader Councillor Brenda Harrison said: “Tackling domestic abuse in all its forms is a key priority for the authority.
“I would encourage anyone who has experienced domestic abuse to come forward and talk to us, as what they tell us could be key to improving local support services.”
Cllr Harrison stressed no-one who shares information will be identified when the council produces its final report.
MP Jonathan Brash, who is chair of the Safer Hartlepool Partnership, added: “Domestic abuse is a stain on our society and we must do everything in our power to support victims and tackle perpetrators.
