First big acts announced for this year's Deer Shed Festival
The ‘family-friendly’ weekend in North Yorkshire returns for its seventh edition this July and was last years decribed as “The best yet in Deer Shed’s burgeoning reputation in what is becoming the north’s answer to the Latitude Festival.”
The ace first names includes more Mercury Prize nominees, with Sunderland’s finest Field Music and Scottish dream pop maker C Duncan.

Deer Shed Festival returns to Baldersby Park, Topcliffe in North Yorkshire from Friday 22 – Sunday 24 July, 2016.
With a capacity of just 7,000, Deer Shed Festival offers an intimate and welcoming atmosphere for the whole family – packed with a host of free workshops and activities for the kids.
The festival’s theme for 2016 is ‘At The Movies’. Indulge the Hollywood director within and play dress up as the star of a specially made festival film – Monsters vs Machines. Organisers are inviting battle stories to feed into the script and shape the film that will be made over the weekend.
