Russell Taylor, Taylor James director and auctioneer, said: “Having been involved in the auction industry for nearly two decades, I have always found the most attractive thing about purchasing at auction is the speed and certainty.

“I receive so many calls from buyers frustrated at purchases which have fallen apart on the open market after spending time and money trying to buy a property.

“At auction, this does not happen, as if you are the highest bidder you have bought a property with immediate exchange and completion within a month.

“There is no messing about or pulling out, which means you can have the peace of mind that you have successfully purchased a new property.”
