Stuart Davison, who runs www.giveawaygenie.co.uk said: “This is our first campaign. Tickets have been selling quickly.

"The competition is proving very popular with those saving to get on the property ladder, parents wanting to offer financial help to their children, those interested in becoming landlords and those who simply plan to sell and enjoy the cash.

"By offering a prize like this, we’re giving people the chance to win a house and to donate to an amazing charity.”

Mr Davison, who has been involved with property for a number of years including various self-build projects, said the home has been fully decorated and been given a new kitchen, bathroom and more work done to it.

"It’s pristine, like a new house,” he said.

It has been independently valued at £84,950 and £89,950 by two local estate agents.

The location of the house is not being revealed at this stage following legal advice.

It hopes the small entry price will still encourage people to enter.

Ten percent of net ticket sales will be donated to Alice House Hospice which Stuart and his family have supported for years and which has cared for a relative.

Hospice fundraiser Greg Hildreth said: “We are really pleased to have been nominated as the chosen charity to receive a donation from this draw.

"Thanks to Giveaway Genie and best of luck to all entrants.

"The money we receive will be used to provide care and support to local families affected by incurable illnesses.”
