Autumn as it has ever been
Just a year ago,
When walking very slow,
And the crispy leaves were blowing on the green;
I was taken back in time
By a mystery of my mind,
Till I was a young girl in my teens.
And the magic of that day
Is here with me to stay,
Autumn as it has ever been.
For I saw it then in truth,
With the eyes of youth,
Blowing bright and fresh, and new and clean.
