Boat towed back to shore after breaking down off Hartlepool coast
Humber Coastguard requested Hartlepool RNLI to assist the 27ft fishing boat with five people on board that had suffered mechanical failure five miles east of Hartlepool.
The call was made at 10.26am on Saturday.
A spokesman for the team said: "The all weather lifeboat with volunteer crew launched at 10.42am and was alongside the fishing boat that had restarted its engine at 10.58am.

Hide Ad"The vessel was escorted back to Kafiga Landings at the Headland arriving at 11.25am.
"The all weather lifeboat returned to the Ferry Road lifeboat station at 11.35am to be refuelled and was ready for service by 11.55am."
