Fire fighters from Hartlepool Stranton fire station were called to Rossmere Park in Hartlepool at 8pm to reports of a youth trapped in a swing.

One fire appliance was called to the park, but no equipment was needed to extract the boy whose legs were trapped in the small swing.

Fire fighters said the boy suffered no injuries, but was a 'bit embarrassed.'
