Busy month will bring a mix of great activities

A month of events will have something for everything thanks to a Hartlepool cause.

The Hartlepool Special Needs Support Group is planning lots of activities for February and group manager and co-ordinator Pat Allison detailed the line-up.

First on the agenda is a pamper morning for parents and carers on February 4. It will be held at Hartlepool College of Further Education.

Next, on February 15, is a trip to the cinema while a clip climbing day will be held at Stockton on February 16. A social afternoon from 2pm at Flix in Hartlepool is planned on February 17 while a magic-themed day is planned a day later, with lunch included. It is aimed at children aged three to 12 years.

A social event with a pub lunch is planned for February 19 while the resource group’s annual meeting will be held on February 23. A race night which includes pie and peas is being planned for February 26.

The charity is based in its own resource centre which is in Park Road in Hartlepool.

It already operates a Children’s Fun Club, youth club, and The Get Together Club.

It also has its own drama section which is called Constellation, and The Friends Fun Club.
