Scott Harrison: Outstanding at the heart of the defence, didn't put a head or foot wrong, including a header off the line. 8

Brad Walker: Magnificent return from injury. Produced a superbly-timed tackle on Lewis in the last minute of injury time as the U's threatened. 8

Liam Donnelly: Made one excellent late block to concede a corner and solid throughout. 7

NIcky Featherstone: Not for the first time, the skipper made Pools tick in the middle of the park. 8

Michael Woods: More advanced than his midfield role on Saturday and got his reward with a superbly-taken winner. 8

Lewis Alessandra: Had a big part in the Woods goal and looked assured throughout in the middle of the park. 7

Nathan Thomas: Seemed to be the most likely away scorer and had a number of attempts. Produced some good defensive cover. 7

Rhys Oates: One of the bright spots in a dull first half but was unlucky he had to hobble off with a thigh problem. 6
