Today's reports say a former Middlesbrough striker has decided a pursue a career in non-league while Leeds United are also speculated to have suffered blow in their efforts to try and tempt a promising youngster to the club.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa are apparently deciding which former Premier League defender they want to sign on a free transfer after missing out on their top target over the weekend.
