Coastguard investigate report of person cut off by tide on Hartlepool coast
Fears someone had been cut off by the tide along the Hartlepool coast led to a call out for the Coastguard.
Hartlepool Coastguard Rescue Team was alerted at 12.28pm yesterday, Tuesday, March 2, after a report someone was potentially cut off at Longscar Rocks in Seaton Carew.
The officers carried out checks and found three men scuba diving near to the rocks and were in no danger.
The service reporting a coastal incident should call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
